Brake fluid goes dark with heat but that is nothing to worry about. However, brake fluid should be changed at least every 24 months. because brake fluid absorbs water which causes spongy brakes and corrosion. water content in brake fluid can be checked by a dealer using a hydrometer. DOT5.1 will withstand heat and moisture absorbtion
The 2018 KTM 1090 would not start 8 maybe 10 try's then when it would hit you would have to rev it to 2000 rpm to keep it running , It started to knock and vibrate , The dealer handed me a new one and will not tell anything about the other bike , They are trying not to let the public know about the issues with the 1090 make sure to tell ever
