Immobiliser fault. Hi everybody I have a Meriva b 2011 with a Lifetime guarantee. Just this week the car refused to start, called out Brittania rescue and the Tech got his code reader on it and it said the immobiliser has cut the link the the fuel pump. So not starting. he tried resetting the car with the use of the 2 different keys of the car 6 days ago ยท Let's see the instructions necessary to reset the Opel Meriva's oil change routine maintenance service light. First, let's get in the car and make sure we close all the doors; after which we go to press the button that we find on the right of the instrument panel, holding it down, and then turn on the panel, as shown in the video. As well as his suggestion put the headlights on & then turn the key. If the headlights dim, or don't light in the first place, it's a battery/connection/charging issue. If they don't dim then it's a fault getting power to, or the starter motor itself. .
In fact, just hold down the button together with the brake pedal and turn on the ignition at the same time. So the display should start flashing "INSP" until it goes out and the wrench warning light is reset. To check that everything has gone well, switch the ignition off and on again and observe that the warning light has gone out.
